A skinny coyote strode into DustClan camp. He was hungry, for the Clans. He was by himself, thank StarClan! He saw that no one was there and decided to go to the fresh kill pile. He smiled. He raided the Clan's prey.

Leafeye opened one eye and saw the coyote. She was scared but looked around and saw Cloverstar was looking in the same direction.

She stalked up to the mangy animal, using her hunting technique. She got into the hunter's crouch, getting ready to leap onto it. She flicked her white tail, signaling Leafeye to stay still. She lunged her self onto the animal, using all her hindquarters strength. She landed on top of it, her claws unsheathed. She let out a hiss, once on him.
The coyote turned around, almost catching Cloverstar. His teeth were bared, he also had his claws out. He howled in pain, Cloverstar had sharp claws! He barked, howled, and growled. He was running in circles, but Cloverstar wouldn't come off!

Leafeye wanted to do something but having only one life she couldn't risk it but then feeling selfish she ran to find someone that could help her.

She hissed. She couldn't hold on any longer. She released. She went over the coyote's head, landing on her side in front of him.
Now is my chance!, the ugly creature thought. Or was it?
"Go get Romanstar!" she screeched to her deputy. She jumped up, her claws still unsheathed. She swiped her paw across the coyote's face, leaving him with a bloody nose and many scratches.
The coyote holwed! "You stupid cat!" he growled. "Call yourself a warrior?" he barked angrily between howls. He bit at her throat angrily.
"Call yourself an animal?" she retorted. She swiped her paw again, catching his eye this time.

Leafeye ran and got Romanstar and nudged him and he jumped up and hissed he looked like he was about to yell at me but seeing Cloverstar he ran to help. Leafeye felt helpless.

The coyote ran off in terror, this cat was tough, and apparently, so were the others. "I'll be back!" he screeched as he was running.
