Leafeye's heart was pounding and quickly dug a hole and slowly put her prey into the hole and then covered it.

She nodded to her, signaling for them to move around the coyote.

Following her she did as Cloverstar said before to be more silent. Making there way around them they looked around but mostly kept her eyes on the coyote.

Leafeye felt as if she should do something but she only had one life not to be selfish but Cloverstar had nine. She felt scared and confused.

Cloverstar picked up her prey and dropped it into the fresh kill pile. She then went to her den and relaxed.
