Ivypaw walked across the clearing to her mentor. Windtear smiled at her. She settled down to eat her mouse. "May I go to the Gathering?" she asked her mother padded up. Other apprentices and warriors had talked about all the excitement about the Gatherings made her want to leap up and down until her mother said yes.

Ivypaw nodded and walked to the elders den. Dim light made it hard to see but she cleaned out a bunch of old bedding and put in new bedding. When she stepped out side it was dark and the cats for the Gathering were already leaving.

Ivypaw watched the beautiful cats trot off into the forse.
In the medicine cat's den she sat down in her nest and began to sleep. In her dreams she could see her as her mother! They were running to the Gathering place she slid through the trees swiftly. Who is doing this and then she saw Earthstar. He looked at her with sof eyes and vanished. A message from Lightclan!

(ok) Ivypaw watched as Cloverstar shared tongues with her brother. She wondered what Goldenmist was like. She had heard of her but never seen her. She had traveled with her husband an their kit Brokenkit, inot the forest and never returned.
