Cloverstar briskly trotted up to Highledge. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under Highledge for a Clan meeting." she mewed, her call ringing through DustClan. All the cats on DustClan gathered under Highledge. "We gather here today to announce the Apprenticeship of a kit." she called down. She flicked her tail, signaling for Ivykit, soon to be Ivypaw, to come up on Highledge. "By naming this apprentice, we show that DustClan will remain strong. Ivykit, it is time for you to become an appentice. From now on, you shall be known as Ivypaw. You will be Windtear's apprentice. Windtear, I expect you to pass on all your knowledge, and make Ivypaw a strong, wise medicine cat." she mewed, pride showing in her eyes. "Ivypaw, do you accept?" (waits for the reply of: I do.) Cloverstar rested her head on top of Ivypaw's. She nodded to her kit, letting her know she could go meet her mentor.

Ivypaw nodded ans said I do. Then she walked calmly (not trying to show her excitement over to Windtear. Windtear smiled at her. The beginning of a new life as she looked at it.

Windtear- "Follow me I'll take you to make your nest." she mewed happy to see her apprentice's excitement.
Ivypaw-Even though her paws were going to burst wanting to see the forest she oboeyed her mentor.

Ivypaw bounced after Windtear. She watched as Windtear padded quietly into the woods. She followed happily.

Windtear-"Yes Cloverstar." she called back to the wight leader. She bowed her head respectfully and flicked her tail to Ivypaw.
